moody and muted

we've been having a pretty pleasant winter - but this week has brought some of the first grey skies of the season. normally i'm drawn to pretty stark interiors - white walls, warm woods, neutral fabrics. 

but something about looking outside into hazy clouds and wet sidewalks makes me wonder if i'm missing out on a moodier interior scheme.
