gritty luxe: unlikely source

i came home to two catalogs this evening, one of which was land's end. i've ordered beach towels and a couple other like items from them, and while i think it's a great value and good product, i've remained a bit lackadaisical about the brand in general.

that changed last night.

i should preface this with the fact that i know they've been making some changes in their 'home' offerings over the past year, much to the delight of many bloggers (and me!). they've slowly introduced a couple pieces of indoor furniture, including some adorable headboards and a cute side chair - both with slipcover options available. oh, and the best part? made in the USA! go team america.

back to the catalog from last night. they've really stepped it up. now they've partnered with schwinn to offer bikes. cute ones. really cute ones. aluminum body, bamboo fenders, rear rack... and an attachable basket (sold separately). it's $700 bones, but if it were me, i'd wait for one of the 30-40% off single item promotions they run and get this sucker in my garage, stat.
