sweet dreams

the one room in our condo that hasn't gotten a lot of attention is our bedroom (isn't that always the case?). i'm slowly gathering my thoughts about what we have vs. what we need - and remembered the rug.

a few years ago i bought a vintage persian rug from an older lady in san francisco. i paid like, $100 - and it's 10' x 7'. deal of the century.

i was quite taken with jenna lyons home at the time and remember thinking it would make a nice addition to the living room... but it never quite worked there.

i took it to the cleaners last month to spiff it up - so it should be back home within the next few days, ready to inspire us.

too bad there aren't any older ladies selling vintage serge mouille for $100. then this would be going gangbusters.
