what a week. the older i get, the more time seems to accelerate right by. even so, i think it's important to stop and 'smell the roses' - and these smell pretty sweet to me...
this handmade wooden mug. i wouldn't kick it out of my cupboard. not by a long shot!
this print reminds me to hang on to the right to go after happiness.
my first internship out of college was at an advertising agency in a
kinda sketchy neighborhood. bob, the security guard that would keep watch of the parking lot, was an older man who did everything from walk you to your car at night to tell you jokes when you were in need of a laugh - even patch your tire after you drove over about a thousand nails. :)
he retired around the time i left for a full time job, and as i left that parking lot for the last time he said something to me that just stuck. he said "you have to look out for yourself - everyone else is doing the same. fight for yourself, fight for you want. fight for number 1." when things get tough, bob's voice echoes in my head.
we really can make our dreams come true.
nothing insightful here... except i just drooled on my keyboard. are
these not ridiculously amaze?
