oh yes, i did

i made a crumble, y'all.

i got rhubarb and strawberries in my farm box last week. first of all, i'm slightly embarrassed to say i didn't know what the red, celery-like stalks were right away. but american ingenuity did right by me and i guessed correctly and got to searching for recipes pretty quick-like. i'm not a pie fan, myself - but sunday dinners at my parent's house warranted a treat for the whole family. seeing as there was an eclipse and all.

i used smitten kitchen's rhubarb strawberry crumble recipe. and yes, you should too. i will now be making a crumble with any and all leftover fruit. so, so easy and so, so well received.

stop looking at my wine.

did anyone else catch the eclipse? i almost lazied-out and missed it, but i'm so glad we actually did. very cool.
