oh hey

so, yeah. i fell off the blogging wagon.

i don't have a good excuse, sadly. i was just in a bit of a funk and, if this makes any sense, a bit over-inspired.

luckily, the first of our typical california summer weekends brought me around. 2 days of 85+ degree weather and i'm good to go.

after a hike around a local reservoir and a quick nap saturday morning, we headed out to an early dinner. we took this as a good omen. dust aside.

b wanted more food than just chips and guac. so he ordered a taco salad. it was the size of rhode island.

we were walking though the shopping area - and b literally stopped me to take a picture of this little sign. he never does that, so i made quick work of it.

at this shopping mall there is a waterway that divides the two sides, filled with swans (black and white!), ducks and of course little ducklings. they sell feed at the little grocery store for their consumption.
